E commerce websites are usually database driven and use templates to generate the website. There are usually 3 or 4 levels to the site structure, as well as informational and miscellaneous pages. If you’re not careful, your website can quickly disappear into the supplemental index and you will have a hard time getting anything other than a few of your pages ranked. These are some nice tips about seach engine optimization.I learn a good lesson from here and hope people will also benefited by reading your site.

Usually those pages don't really rank for any money terms. But they may be doing that to set the theme for outbound links from those pages. Nice guide btw.

I have found that lots of large sites such as Newegg.com will use the main keywords of the homepage on other pages such as the contact us, privacy policy pages, etc... Anything that is not a real product/category. Something like this:
Contact Us | Newegg.com - Computers, Electronics, Monitors, etc...
Would you think this is good or not?
Here is a nice continuation of your e-commerce SEO theme:
Top 30 <a href="http://webmarketing.veracart.com/ecommerce-seo-guide-30-1-top-tips/" rel="nofollow">ecommerce seo tips</a>
